Bits Hyderabad

I am the privileged one to enter this college.Though there are some problems initially, I didn't feel their full impact as I went on to make friends and enjoy whatever I got. After 2 long years of little social interaction in Intermediate, I realized to my surprise that I was afraid of girls. Now It feels embarrassing even to think of it.But I literally felt like running at the very sight of a girl.I apologize to every girl for that( especially Jagruti).I would like to apologize for 2 other girls who seriously tried for me.I used to feel sleepy whenever I touched a book and slept for day and night and didn't like some of the subjects.I read what is interesting to me and left the rest.
I may have shed about 20 kg in the first semester because of the mess food. But I liked the walking to LTC and spent some quality time at the library.
Some changes took place in second year. Not just my reduction in my weight, but there is a significant decrease in fear of girls and I started to feel less sleepy at the beginning and finally settled for sleeping 3 hours a day.

My experiences in Coorg

I met my school friends after a long long time.Honestly speaking, I feel that a day away from them is enough to be called as a long time.I am the lucky one because, they came to bengaluru from a long distance and we started of to Coorg togeather. We were around 18 people each one adding their own flavor to the trip.Normally I hate long travels during the day.But my friends made the travel to seem short with their games and jokes.I didn't care what I eat or drink...I enjoyed every joke, comment and compliment given to, or by me.The most touching part about my School friends is,.......they make me feel like myself.

It is not entirely and monotonously fun.We had a bit of everything.Trill,Adventure,Disappointment,Sorrow and everything that could be between friends.Coorg is a beautiful place blessed with flora and fauna. Its an eye candy site to see and touch the elephants and watch forest beauties, waterfalls, competing in boat rafting with friends and swimming with them.

I thought that trees in Jurassic park are fictitious. But I got a glimpse of them in Coorg.Looking down at them as we move up the mountain in spiral roads gives a very nice feel. There are plants with beautiful flowers at some places on the road side. But I felt that the duration of the trip is too short to see any significant part of Coorg. As the time of separation neared, the laughter subsided and smiles seemed half hearted.I gave them a slip as soon as I came to bangalore to avoid the separation part.It is unhealthy to look at my friends getting away from me and from each other.Moving in groups to reach different places of the country.

Barely after a day away from them, I am eagerly looking forward to get one more chance to meet them. This time we need to plan for a tour packed with enjoyment, entertainment and trill. And that is why I decided to participate in the planning process myself.

My experiences in Bengaluru

I came to bengaluru after a sleepless night, as the precipitated water in the bus kept falling on to my face.I saw some greenery on my way to the "Garden City" of  India.Oops...! I forgot to say the other nick name of it....and the one that really matters to me....or the reason I need to come to Bengaluru. Its called India's "Silicon Valley".I came here to do my internship in a software company for a period of 6 months.

It is no different from any major cities in India on the account of traffic. But the auto service is awful and corrupt as they charge 400 for a place which takes only Rs 10 by bus.But the people of Karnataka have a soft corner for the people of Andhra Pradesh. The auto driver immediately told me to take a bus after seeing me talking in telugu.Actually I thought of learning kannada language as a hobby,But came to know later that, it is not necessary, as most of the people speak in telugu.I met my friends and we found a paying guest to stay.

A bridge is under construction in the area we were staying and due to the regular rains and mud from construction the roads are in a bad condition. We found a suitable accommodation and started our internship.
Bangalore has its own unique culture.Unlike Mumbai, it is not a non stop, busy city to be on the rocks and lively all the 24 hours a day.In fact, most of the city goes to sleep by 10:30.It road is the main mode of transport in Bengaluru and due to construction works, the traffic is at its peek.I saw some big malls and well constructed software companies and Tech villages.I saw constructions going on at many more places in bangalore. We can say that its a rapidly growing city with new flyovers and new metro called "Namma Metro" and many new companies, houses, malls and shops under construction.

Coming to social life of Bengaluru, It is no different from where I came from.It has all the tastes of a typical south Indian city which respects people from all over India.A lot could be said about the social culture of the people by looking at their attire. The native women of karnataka put on decent cloths (needless to say about men as they are always decent). You can't see many hot girls roaming in their tights(In Mumbai its quite  opposite). The girls are beautiful, but a hot one is very rarely seen...most of them are cute. The people here are extremely helpful.I came across a man at 11:00 PM and asked him the way to bus stand. From his words I came to know that he is drunk(I forgot to say that I am insensitive to smell of alcohol).Still, he explained very patiently.

Now, the darker side of bengaluru......The hated the auto fellows here. They never want to go by meter and charged exuberantly high prices.Even the government bus fairs are high.A private bus with lot better seats and TV charges same as the old.The irony is....they added AC buses in bengaluru which is known for its pleasant (not for me...its very cold here) climate.Of course, they charge extra for them.....The road maintenance is not good at many places round the city.I am one of the unfortunate many to inhale dust at the beginning of the day when I go to office. The work progress is also slow because of the heavy transport problem which in turn is because of a large number of constructions in and around the city.I think, every city should go through this problem in this phase of rapid development.

I was fortunate that I met my school friends and went to Coorg.I visited few places in Bengaluru.ISKON temple,Mantri Mall,Wonderla etc.Mysore,Siva Samudhra Waterfalls,Nandi Hills,White Field,Freedom parks are on my plans list.
Will write more about bangalore soon.....
